# Deliverables & Executive Communication

> Turn analysis into a concise executive story that explains what was found, why it matters and what the client should do next.

A consulting deliverable is useful when it helps the client make a decision. It is not valuable because it is long.

## The three-question test

Every important page or slide should answer:

1. **What did we find?**
2. **Why does it matter?**
3. **What should the client do?**

If a page only describes the current state, it may be analysis rather than a finding.

## Recommended narrative

1. Executive summary
2. Business question and scope
3. Current-state evidence
4. Key findings
5. Opportunity areas
6. Prioritisation
7. Business case
8. Recommended roadmap
9. Risks and dependencies
10. Decision and next steps

## Make evidence visible

Separate:

* observed evidence;
* interpretation;
* assumptions;
* recommendation.

This makes disagreement easier to resolve and improves trust.

## Lead with conclusions

Senior executives should not need to wait until slide 30 to understand what you recommend. Put the answer early, then provide supporting detail.

## Tailor by audience

A CEO may focus on strategic outcome and pace. A CFO may challenge economics and assumptions. A COO may focus on operational feasibility and ownership. A CTO may focus on architecture, security and integration.

## Where Iris fits

Use Iris outputs as evidence and supporting analysis, then convert them into an executive narrative. Do not simply export product screens and call that the final deliverable.

## What to do next

Read **Report Structure** and **Executive Presentation**.
