# Scaling Delivery

> Standardise the parts of consulting that should repeat while preserving judgment where client context genuinely differs.

Scaling professional services means reducing unnecessary reinvention without turning every client into the same template.

## Standardise the operating spine

Create repeatable processes for:

* qualification;
* proposal and SOW;
* kickoff;
* stakeholder selection;
* evidence collection;
* synthesis;
* opportunity scoring;
* business-case assumptions;
* executive readout;
* implementation transition;
* case study and referral request.

## Keep judgment flexible

Do not standardise:

* the client’s business question;
* which evidence matters;
* root-cause analysis;
* the intervention selected;
* executive narrative;
* implementation recommendation.

## Create quality gates

Before a deliverable reaches the client, verify:

* important findings have evidence;
* assumptions are labelled;
* recommendations address causes, not symptoms;
* financial claims are traceable;
* scope and limitations are clear;
* the requested decision is explicit.

## Build capacity planning

Track expected sold work by week or month and compare it with realistic delivery capacity. Include sales, project management and client communication time, not only technical execution.

## Use Iris as infrastructure

A common evidence and process-analysis workflow can reduce variability across consultants and make the diagnostic method easier to teach. It does not remove the need for peer review and professional judgment.

## Scaling milestone

You have a scalable delivery system when a trained consultant can run the core method with predictable quality without the founder personally rebuilding every step.
