# Generating Reports

## Pre-report checklist

* process scope is correct;
* material stakeholder contradictions are resolved or labelled;
* findings are traceable to evidence;
* root causes are distinguished from symptoms;
* opportunities have been consultant-reviewed;
* ROI assumptions have sources and confidence;
* the recommended first project is clear.

## Build for the audience

Executives need the conclusion and decision. Process owners may need more operational detail. Technical teams may need architecture and data dependencies.

## Quality review

Check every finding for:

* evidence;
* consequence;
* recommendation;
* owner;
* next action.
