# Validating with Stakeholders

> Use stakeholder validation to confirm the current-state view, resolve contradictions and label unresolved evidence.

Validation should happen before recommendations harden into the final story.

## What to validate

* process sequence;
* major variants;
* handoffs;
* bottlenecks;
* frequency of exceptions;
* likely root causes;
* baseline assumptions.

## Run the session around disagreements

Do not ask only “does this look right?”

Ask:

* Which part of this is wrong or incomplete?
* Where does your experience differ?
* Is this a common path or an exception?
* Why does this step exist?
* Who owns changing it?

## Record outcomes

Mark each important item as:

* validated;
* amended;
* unresolved;
* requires additional evidence.

## Avoid consensus theatre

A finding does not need every stakeholder to like it. It needs transparent evidence and appropriate validation.
