# Objection Handling

> Diagnose what is behind common objections before trying to answer them.

## “That is too expensive”

Ask:

> Compared with what you expected, or compared with the value of solving the problem?

Then determine whether the issue is budget, value, scope or trust. Reduce scope before discounting blindly.

## “We can build this internally”

> You may well be able to. The question is whether the bottleneck is build capacity or deciding what is worth building. Our first engagement is designed to establish that evidence and implementation priority.

## “We already have Copilot / ChatGPT”

> That may cover some individual productivity use cases. We are looking at the underlying workflow and where process, integration, automation or AI changes create measurable business value.

## “Can you do a free pilot?”

> We can keep the first paid scope small, but the diagnostic work itself creates value and requires real delivery. If budget is the constraint, we should reduce scope rather than make the work undefined.

## “Our data is not ready”

> That may be part of the diagnosis. We can start with stakeholder and workflow evidence, then identify the minimum data required for the opportunities that actually merit deeper analysis.

## “Not now”

Ask what would need to change for the problem to become a priority and agree a real trigger for re-engagement.
