# Sales Use Cases

> Opportunity patterns across lead research, CRM administration, proposals, follow-up and forecasting.

## 1. Lead research

**Problem:** sellers spend too long assembling basic account context.

**Opportunity:** compile approved public and CRM information into a concise account brief.

**Evidence:** prep time, duplicated research, missed trigger events.

**KPI:** preparation time per meeting; seller capacity.

## 2. CRM administration

**Problem:** notes, activities and fields are updated inconsistently after calls.

**Opportunity:** draft structured CRM updates from meeting outputs, with user review.

**Required data:** meeting notes/transcript, CRM fields, account/contact IDs.

**Risks:** incorrect field updates, sensitive information, poor CRM hygiene being automated.

## 3. Proposal preparation

**Problem:** teams repeatedly rebuild first drafts and chase standard information.

**Opportunity:** generate a structured first draft from approved templates, CRM context and product information.

**Human oversight:** commercial owner approves pricing, commitments and final wording.

**KPI:** proposal cycle time; rework; conversion where causally supportable.

## 4. Follow-up

Draft post-meeting actions and emails from approved meeting evidence. Keep the salesperson accountable for accuracy and tone.

## 5. Forecasting support

Summarise deal evidence, missing fields and risks; do not replace accountable forecast judgment with opaque model confidence.

<Tip>
The best sales automation usually removes administration around selling rather than automating the relationship itself.
