Standardise the spine; customise the client evidence and recommendation. The repeatable spine should cover qualification, first offer, discovery, diagnostic stages, stakeholder coverage, evidence-quality rules, opportunity assessment, business case, executive deliverable, implementation handoff and project cadence. A productised diagnostic needs a bounded business question, standard method/outputs, explicit exclusions, normal delivery range and pricing logic.

Quality gates

  • Before synthesis: stakeholder coverage is sufficient and gaps are known.
  • Before recommendation: findings are validated and assumptions labelled.
  • Before readout: recommendation, value case and required decision are clear.
For any SOP record only trigger, owner, steps, inputs, outputs, quality check and escalation condition. The system works when another capable consultant can deliver the method without copying the founder step by step.
