Your message should make the buyer think “this is relevant to my problem”, not “this person knows a lot about AI.”

Core formula

We help [ICP] achieve [outcome] by [method], without [common pain].
Example:
We help growing professional-services firms identify where AI and automation can remove operational friction by analysing how work actually happens, rather than starting with a generic list of tools.

A credible Iris talk track

We use a structured diagnostic methodology combining stakeholder evidence, workflow understanding and process analysis to identify where change can create the greatest commercial value. Iris supports that evidence layer; we then validate the findings with your team and recommend what should happen next.

Avoid these messages

  • “We revolutionise businesses with AI.”
  • “We can automate anything.”
  • “Our platform will tell you exactly what to build.”
  • “AI will save 80% of your costs.”
They create unnecessary credibility and expectation risk.

Build three versions

Create:
  • a one-line positioning statement for profiles and introductions;
  • a 30-second explanation for live conversations;
  • a two-minute explanation that adds your method, proof and example outcomes.

Test your message

A strong buyer should be able to repeat back:
  • who you work with;
  • what problem you solve;
  • why your approach is different;
  • what first engagement you would recommend.
If they cannot, simplify.
